 In Memory of Charles Howard | Charles B. Howard Scholarship The Walking Horse Owners Association Scholarship Fund in Memory of Charles B. Howard was established in 2021 to provide monetary assistance to our degree-seeking members. The mission of the Charles B. Howard scholarship is to provide financial assistance to individuals enrolled for undergraduate study in community colleges, colleges, trade schools and universities. The deadline to submit an application is July 31of each year. |
Happy Trails Program Since its inception, the Walking Horse Owners’ Association has championed the flat-shod Tennessee Walking Horse. WHOA is eager to give back to you - the trail riding Tennessee Walking Horse enthusiast! The “Happy Trails” program was created in order to reward those that promote our great breed through trail riding. In addition to offering this program, WHOA is proud to host trail rides throughout the country. New “Happy Trails” participants receive a welcome gift followed by special certificates and yearly awards as hours are accrued to each award level. Participants will also be recognized in WHOA’s online newsletter.
